China-made high-end sheetfed offset press was born

On January 5, 2011, Shanghai Electric Seal & Press Co., Ltd. officially announced the launch of the Akiyama SUPERTECH 40 series offset press at the "2011 Shanghai Electric Innovation & Packaging and Printing Solutions Promotion and Demonstration Conference" held by Shanghai Electric Inkjet Printer Co., Ltd. The machine is open format, and the printing speed has reached the industry's leading level of 16,500 sheets/hour, which is also an important indicator of high-end sheet-fed offset presses. At the event, Mr. Cao Min, President of Shanghai Electric Printing & Packaging Machinery Co., Ltd. announced that the Akiyama SUPERTECH 40 series offset press was the technological crystallization of the integration of Goss International, Akiyama, Japan and Guanghua of Shanghai after the acquisition of Goss International by Shanghai Electric, from China, the United States and Japan. A high-end sheetfed offset press developed jointly by technicians. The launch of this machine has brought the history of China's printing machinery manufacturing industry without high-end printing presses to an end, thus breaking the monopoly of foreign products on the high-end sheet-fed printing press market.
