Good equipment also requires proper operation and reasonable maintenance to make the most of it. In the use of narrow-width equipment, the biggest obstacle encountered is not a technical problem, but a technical problem.

1. The ink is not dry and easy to fall off

For the problem of poor ink drying, the solution is to use a 9 kW UV dryer, which is easier and faster to dry than a 2 kW tube. In case of the problem that the ink is easy to fall off, it should be analyzed together with the ink supplier and the raw material supplier. If the adhesion of the ink is not good, the additive may be added. If the surface adsorption performance of the printing material is not good, corona treatment is required.

2. Static electricity

The problem of static electricity is a problem often encountered in production. Especially when printing labels, it is necessary to install a complete set of static elimination devices on the equipment, and strictly control the temperature and humidity of the workshop. Especially when printing in-mold labels and film-type label products, the printing effect of static electricity and dust removal is better.

3. The ink scraping effect is not good

In the process of flexographic printing, the scraper and the anilox roller are synchronously driven, and the blade is prone to occur. That is, there is a trace of ink drawn on the printed label, and in the field, the color of the place is lighter than the surrounding color. It is necessary to adjust the blade to the best angle. In the selection of the scraper, the blade of the imported scraper is mostly subjected to carbon burning treatment, and the scraping effect is better. The reason for the appearance of the ink trace may be that the ink itself is likely to generate bubbles, which is caused by the formation of marks on the anilox roll, and it is necessary to appropriately add some auxiliary agents.

4. Ink bar

There are ink sticks on the label, which are often the gears on the plate cylinder and the impression cylinder, the teeth are not rounded, or there are indentations on the plate. In this case, the plate roller gear needs to be replaced.

5. Screening lines

From the point of printing screen line, the highest number of offset and gravure lines is higher than that of flexographic printing. The ideal number of screen lines for flexographic printing is about 150 lines/inch. If it exceeds 175 lines/inch, the flexo version will be added. The difficulty of plate making and printing, especially when the field and the network cable are on the same plate, the amount of ink in the solid part is large, which is easy to cause malfunction of the anilox roller, and shortens the life of the printing plate. In addition, in the processing of the network cable, flexographic printing is completely different from offset printing and gravure printing. The offset printing and gravure printing dots can be gradually changed to zero, and the flexographic printing can only achieve 2%.
