Crash troubleshooting case - cartridge leak

Solution:

As mentioned earlier, there is a small amount of air in the upper part of the print cartridge connected to the continuous ink supply system. This is to avoid the phenomenon of ink self-flow caused by the siphon principle. If you see some small air bubbles in the ink line, don't worry, they will be absorbed by the upper air layer of the print cartridge, which is normal.

The air layer on the upper part of the cartridge will expand or shrink with the change of the indoor air temperature. If the printer is placed in an unused state, if the air line at the interface with the print cartridge interface does not exceed 150 mm in the air, this is due to the air layer. Caused by inflation, it is a normal phenomenon. However, if there is an air segment in the entire ink line, this is caused by a leak in the ink cartridge or a leak at the ink filling elbow connector.

If there is an entire section of air in an ink line, check the seal between the ink filling elbow and the print cartridge connector. You can remove the ink filling elbow and check it, and then plug it in again. If the ink line in each strip is full of air, check the print cartridge for air leaks and replace the cartridge (in most cases the cartridge label is not sealed).
