The scientific research results of the “Key Technology Research on Epoxy Insulation Powder Encapsulation of Electronic Components†jointly completed by Xi’an Jiaotong University and Shaanxi Huadian Materials Corporation Weihua Electronic Packaging Materials Factory have recently passed the appraisal organized by the Ministry of Education. Experts from China Epoxy Resin Industry Association believe that this is a breakthrough in the field of epoxy encapsulation in China. The research project is the key fund of the Ministry of Education, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the cooperation project with Shaanxi Huadian Materials Corporation. A new generation of successfully developed plastic insulation and encapsulation materials is mainly used for the insulation packaging of electronic components and electrical components. According to experts from the China Epoxy Resin Industry Association, the use of this new material to encapsulate electronic components is easy to process, and the moisture resistance and heat resistance of electronic components after encapsulation is greatly improved. The breakdown voltage of ceramic capacitors is high, and laser markings can be clearly printed. So that the level of domestic plastic electronic packaging material greatly improved. Comparative tests have shown that the performance of this new type of encapsulant material is comparable to that of Japanese pennon products.
