Waste aluminum foil recycling technology successfully developed in Baotou

Recently, waste aluminum foil recycling technology was successfully developed in Baotou City, Inner Mongolia. This technology will ease the environmental pollution problems caused by waste aluminium and platinum.

Aluminum foil composite paper is widely used in product packaging of cigarette industry, food and beverage plants, pharmaceutical factories and many other industries, and its usage has been increasing at a high rate year by year, and its corner waste has also increased. Because aluminum and paper stick together, they cannot be used for aluminum smelting or papermaking. They are discarded and burned, polluting the environment and wasting resources.

The Institute of Chemical Engineering of Baotou City, Inner Mongolia, has recently developed a "dry one-step" waste aluminum foil separation and recovery technology and equipment, and established a recycling plant. Each ton of waste aluminum foil can recover 300 kg of aluminum and 600 kg of high-quality dry pulp, which has been identified by relevant authorities. Aluminum up to the national standard, pulp can create high-grade paper towels. The result has been officially granted by the National Patent Office.
