What are the requirements for POS terminal security PCI?

I am very concerned about the PCI requirements for POS terminals, because it is difficult for me to find a suitable way to secure the physical keys of the publicly locked POS system drawers. Does PCI compliance only require me to hide my keys or save them in other secure ways? Regarding POS terminal security, what is the compliance requirement for PCI?

Mike Chapple: PCI DSS does not directly deal with the problem of locking the key in the cash drawer in the POS system. Even if you really put the key on the desktop, it probably won't violate the PCI DSS unless you also click on the credit card number in these drawers. Even so, you should maintain good security practices, such as protecting the keys that are filled with cash drawers in a safe manner.

The PCI DSS contains some requirements for physical POS security. Often, POS terminals are built where it is difficult to provide strong physical security, such as in front of retail stores. In this regard, the PCI standard requires merchants to take measures to prevent POS terminal devices from being tampered with, such as the installation of a keylogger and splitter to steal user payment card transaction data.

POS system merchants are required to maintain a detailed list of these system maintenance, including production, model, location and number of each device to collect payment card data. Merchants must also periodically check their equipment for signs of tampering or unauthorized use. Finally, merchants need to train employees on the appropriate physical security aspects of POS terminals.
