Residential building where a fire broke out

At 11 o'clock in the evening on April 4, a fire broke out in Building No. 38, Shidai Longcheng, No. 43 Shenda Road, Yuhong District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. The entire residential building was covered with smoke and fire from 1st to 18th floors. By the early morning of the 5th, the fire was extinguished by firefighters. It is gratifying that all 63 residents of the entire residential building were successfully evacuated without causing casualties.

Residents of high-rise residential buildings found that the building was on fire, how should they escape from life? When the reporter interviewed on the spot, some of the affected residents told about their escape experience.

12th floor: a family of three wet towels escape

A male resident living on the 12th floor recalled that the first thing that broke into the house during the fire was smoke. "At the time, my family and I were sleeping. Don't worry if you find that the building is on fire. It is best to judge from which direction the fire has developed. If the fire is above your home, you should run down the ground. If the fire is below your home, it depends on whether there is a passage to escape. If the escape route has been closed by smoke and fire, consider escaping upstairs. 8th floor: I tried to take the elevator downstairs

A resident living on the 8th floor said that he had tried to escape through the elevator in the building during the fire, but he ran to the elevator with a wet towel and found that the elevator had been shut down.

Usually, there are at least two escape stairs in the high-rise building, so try not to take the ordinary elevator. Because in the event of a fire, ordinary elevators are likely to be powered down due to malfunction or human power. When ordinary elevators cannot be used, people can use the internal stairs to evacuate and escape. When they escape, they should close the fire doors of the stairwells as much as possible to prevent fireworks from entering.

5th floor: I want to jump out of the window but I gave up because it was too high.

"At the time, I saw the fire on the other side of the building. There was some distance from my home. I almost jumped straight out of the window." Tip: The bathroom is relatively safer

If all safety passages are cut off during a fire, the toilet is a safer safer place than the utility. Remember, never drill under the bed or in the closet.
