Multi-layer stickers are special labels, usually 2 or 3 layers, and some also have positive back printing (ie, plastic surface printing), and are generally used for the packaging of food, cosmetics, and cleaning products. The biggest advantage of multi-layer labels is that they can print more product information on a product label, such as printing the promotional price on the outermost layer and the description of the printed product on the inner layer. Another advantage is that the purchaser can easily remove the price tag on a gift or the like without affecting the appearance.
Omet's new devices for multi-layer labels are cleverly designed and configured to fit on any type of narrow-format flexo press produced by Omet. Usually this unit is installed between the printing unit and the die-cutting unit. It is also possible to design different processing sequences according to the customer's requirements and have a variety of configuration options. Its main function is as follows.
1. Produce adhesive materials online. Firstly, the paper of the first unwinding unit is used as front-back printing, and then the material of the second unwinding unit is used as a backing paper to apply glue. After the adhesive surface is printed, it is compounded with the top-side paper.
2. Both the first unwinding unit and the second unwinding unit use a ready-made self-adhesive single roll, and carry out front-back printing, adhesive-surface printing, etc., and then automatically take away the bottom paper of the first unwinding unit output material. That is to say, a multi-layer self-adhesive label is made by compounding the second unrolled material.
3. The first unwinding unit adopts self-adhesive material, and after finishing various printing, it is divided into two parts, and then the two parts are compounded and then compounded with the material (normal bottom paper or self-adhesive paper) output by the second unwinding unit. Double or multi-layer stickers.
For each of the above methods, it is also possible to carry out on-line lamination or composite treatment with other materials. The label obtained by center cutting and recombination has a maximum width of 420 mm which is the maximum width of a single roll, and the maximum width of the label is 210 mm. UV ink or water-based ink may be used for printing.
Omet's introduction of this device can handle both paper and film materials, customers choose the film, you need to be equipped with a water roller in the printing unit.
After the customer installs the new processing unit, it can be tailored to the customer's needs and can be flexibly combined to produce a wide variety of self-adhesive label products. Therefore, it is well reflected in the users.
