Hard PVC transparent packaging film production process

The rigid PVC transparent packaging film has high transparency, firmness, stable kink, high strength, good toughness, impact resistance and tear resistance, excellent airtightness, non-toxic, odorless, tasteless, and can keep fresh and fragrant. In view of the above characteristics, this film is mainly used as a candy kink package, an outer package of cigarettes and other foods, and the appearance can be comparable to that of a traditional cellophane (Caifen). Therefore, it is commonly known as PVC cellophane, but its price is lower than cellophane.

Rigid PVC transparent packaging film is a rigid PVC product without plasticizer. Therefore, a high-grade PVC resin such as SG6 is used for processing. For food packaging, hygienic PVC should also be used. The residual vinyl chloride monomer in the resin should be less than 5 mg Ag. PVC cellophane formulations are shown in Table 6-13.

When used in cigarette packaging, in order to improve the heat sealing performance of PVC cellophane, the surface needs to be coated with a layer of low temperature heat sealing material, the main component of which is vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate copolymer resin.

(1) Production process. The rigid PVC packaging film production process is as follows:

All kinds of raw materials → kneading → cold mix → extrusion blow molding → PVC glass paper base film → anti-static

Electric and heat seal coating → cutting → inspection → packaging → finished products

This process uses powder directly extrusion blow molding, made of glass paper base film, can also be directly as a product, without antistatic, heat seal coating.

(2) Production process. Rigid PVC transparent packaging film generally adopts extrusion blow molding process. The main process conditions are as follows:

1 ingredients kneading. The PVC resin and other additives are accurately weighed and placed in a high-speed kneader. The kneading time is 5 to 8 minutes and the temperature is about 102° C. The material is kneaded and put into a cooler for cooling until the material temperature drops to 40-50. Below °C can be put into the storage tank for use.

2 Extrusion blown film. Direct blow molding using powder, similar to ordinary blown film. Extrusion temperature: fuselage 160~180°C, machine neck 180~190°C, machine head 190-210°C, film inflation ratio (2 ~3):1, pulling speed 10~30m/mino

3 Rotary take-up. In order to make the surface of the film roll smooth, the thickness unevenness of the film is made to be evenly distributed, so after the film is cut open, take-up is used.
