Book block processing

1. Round circle potential does not meet the standard requirements

cause:

1 When manual rounding is performed, the regular script operation does not meet the requirements;

2 The first back book adhesive is not wet;

3 After the manual rounding, no self-calibration was performed;

4 Machine is not properly adjusted when the roller is round;

5 After the machine rounds up, the book block jolts on the linkage line.

Solution:

1 When you make a round by hand, you should start the book 2/3 and then make a round;

2 The book back glue should be moistened before it is finished, making the book back soft and easy to shape;

3 Manually knead the book core after hand-rounding to correct the circular potential and verticality;

4 correctly adjust the clamping degree of the roller according to the thickness of the book block;

5 less downtime can reduce the bumping time of the book block on the linkage line.

2. After the ridge does not protrude

cause:

1 When the hand is raised, the position of the lower hammer is incorrect or the height of the ridge is too small;

2 The ridges are not properly applied and the ridges cannot protrude;

3 When the machine is ridged, the spacing between the wedge and the back of the book is not suitable, or the arc length of the wedge does not match the length of the book back arc.

Solution:

1 When raising the hand manually, the position of the lower hammer should be in the middle of the spine, and the force should be on both sides. When the force is applied, the hammer should be pulled first. Both hard and soft, when the book is folded on both sides and then ridge, do not rush to calculate the ridge;

2 When the machine is ridged, the wedge should be in contact with the back of the book to press the back of the book and allow it to deform out of the ridge;

3 The arc length of the wedge should be based on the book thickness.

3. After the round book block, the front mouth is terraced

cause:

1 Excessive number of signatures, too thick paper;

2 selected coated paper;

3 The circle is too big.

Solution:

1 books that need to be rounded, the number of signatures should not be excessive, under normal circumstances, paper with a basis weight of 50g/m2 or better must not be folded at 40%;

More than 25% off the coated paper signature is best not to make a round;

3 扒 circularity should be 90 ~ 120 °, if the circular potential is too large, the front port is easy to show terraced.
